Christian F. Schoepp, PhD., JD., MPA practices law in Florida with a special focus on wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury. His abundance of experience in international relations and diplomacy makes him an asset to business clients.
Christian was born and raised in Montreal, Canada and speaks English, French, and Spanish fluently. He holds a B.A. in Political Science, a Masters in Public Administration, a Doctorate of Philosophy in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, and a Juris Doctor with a specialty in alternative dispute resolution. While attending law school, he was chosen as Associate Editor of the Intellectual Property Law Review. He also received the CALI Award in Drug & Device Law, was selected as a Phi Alpha Delta Society Scholar, and was given the Public Service Award by the Minnesota J. Foundation.
Prior to forming Schoepp Law, Christian spent nearly a decade working with the Consulate General of Canada, where he was often recognized for outstanding achievements. As a senior consular officer, he was often called upon to operate intelligence activities, as well as to handle high profile cases involving foreign governments and international affiliates. He has participated in both national and international crisis operations as part of emergency management response teams, and has built relationships with senior stakeholders and law enforcement agencies in the United States, Canada, and around the world.
Christian has also been called upon as a consultant to Miami-Dade County. He has served as a special project administrator, providing technical assistance and advice with regards to the regulatory aspects of various federal funding programs. Christian was appointed by the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners to serve on Miami-Dade County's Special Transportation Advisory Committee. He also served as the Director of Research and Strategic Planning at the Beacon Council, Miami-Dade County's official economic development agency, where he worked to coordinate projects resulting in over $75 million of new capital investment for the County.
Finally, Christian is a published author and has extensively written on the topic of conflict resolution. He has also taught at both the undergraduate and doctoral levels for more than 15 years.
As evidenced by his extensive involvement in community interest projects, Christian strongly believes in giving back to the community. He practices this philosophy within his firm by taking a special interest in cases where he can advocate for a party that would otherwise be at an unfair disadvantage. Christian prides himself on helping his clients get their lives back on track and start over after often catastrophic events.
